Lt Col A Rajeev
According to an update from Girish Kumar/1928/ The Class of ’89, our dear buddy Rajeev, presently SO1 Trg & Coordm, AEC Training College & Centre,Panchmarhi, ( whatever that means 
) has been awarded the Chief’s Commendation on 24 Feb 2012, during the Chief’s visit of the to that institution.
Rajeev ( oops.. Lt Col Rajeev ) joined NDA in 1990 ( 85 course), and was commissioned into 1 Naga Regiment in 1994. Due to a shoulder injury, which got aggravated during the Kargil War, in which he fought with the regiment, he was medically down graded and eventually converted to the Army Education Corps (AEC) in 2004.
Gen Ghumman Singh, our ex- Head master, who was the DG of AEC at that time, was instrumental in Rajiv joining the AEC, rather than going to any other services like ASC or AOC. He has served as Registrar of Sainik School Balachadi, Gujarat, and has been a GTO in 34 SSB, Allahabad.
And now, hear this !
Rajeev is a prospective Principal of Sainik School, Kazhakootam.
Shamelessly vain and proud of you dear buddy. Can’t wait to hear of far more laurels heaped on you going forward.
